Flooring a new home in Gap, PA

Friday, January 14, 2022 12:00 PM Amos Beiler was shopping for flooring for his new house that was being built. He needed a variety of flooring for large sections of his home including his kitchen, mudroom, laundry, basement, and bedroom. Although Amos shopped several different flooring companies, he was most impressed with the Flor Haus’ commitment to customer service.

Starting in the kitchen, Amos wanted an authentic hardwood look. We recommended Andersen hardwood in a mocha color. In the mudroom, laundry, and bathrooms we chose a vinyl tile that would offer the beautiful look of ceramic tile but without the cold, hard feel. The second floor and the bedrooms were treated to a scratch resistant, waterproof vinyl plank that looks like hardwood but without its many drawbacks. The basement received Shaw carpet.

Because the house was still being built, we were happy to accommodate the builder’s schedule by installing the flooring as various areas were ready, finishing the job in just under 6 weeks.

Amos says,  “Excellent job!”
